Mrs. M. E. A. Brian
  Martha Elizabeth Ashworth Brian, who died at Ogden Friday, was born at Bradford, Yorkshire, England, May 23, 1843, and came to America in 1849. After residing in St. Louis for five years she moved to Salt Lake by ox team in 1854 and made her home at East Mill Creek, Salt Lake county.
  She married Daniel Gross Brian in December, 1860. Mr. Brian died in December, 1890. In 1884 the couple moved to Salt Lake. In 1885, with her family, she moved to Idaho, where she had resided for the last thirty-three years. Her death occurred while visiting her son in Ogden and was due to general debility. Mrs. Brian went to Springville, Utah, in 1916 to visit her daughter. She became blind three years ago.
  Surviving are eight children — Roe Leffler of Springville, Utah; Eliza Kinghorn of Lewisville, Idaho; Bertha Marler of Gridley, Cal.; Dan Brian, Ogden; Louis Brian, Provo; Albert Brian, Rexburg, Idaho; William Brian, Rexburg, and Frank Leslie Brian, Pocatello, Idaho. Thirty-seven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, three sisters - Mrs. Sarah Chapman, East Mill Creek; Mrs. Vilate O'Brien, Salt Lake, and Mrs. Emma Hill, East Mill Creek - and two brothers, Reuben Ashworth, East Mill Creek, and Thomas Ashworth, Salt Lake, also survive.
  Funeral services will be held at the Lower Mill Creek chapel at 2 p.m., today. Burial will be in the Mill Creek cemetery.
