John Greenlee
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Hamilton Peers-Lortenzen Chapel for John Wesley Greenlee, 70, Earlimart, who died Monday at a Delano hospital.
Mr. Greenlee was a native of Winthrop, Ark. He had lived in Earlimart for 17 years. He served in the Navy in World War II. He was a truck driver, last employed by the U. S. Goverment Marine Co-op. He was a member of the American Federation of Government Employees No. 1482 in Barstow.
He is survived by two sons, James Greeniee, Barstow, and James Charles Greenlee, Mableville, Ark.; two daughters, Susan Holmes, Daggett, and Jane Woods, Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Jake Greenlee, Pixley; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The Rev. Orville Nelson of the Freewill Baptist Church, Earlimart, will officiate. Burial will be in Tipton-Pixley District Cemetery.
