Judith "Judy" Ann (McGuyer) Daniel, 79, who peacefully ascended to heaven on June 24th, 2023, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by her adoring family. Judy had just celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary with her beloved and devoted husband, Monty R. Daniel.

Born on January 19th, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan to the late William Taylor and Gladys Welborn McGuyer, Judy's beautiful life began. She spent her childhood years in Rockport, Kentucky, alongside her four sisters whom she held dear to her heart.
In 1962, Judy graduated from Beaver Dam High School, carrying with her passion and kindness that would touch many lives. Her independence led her to receive her cosmetology diploma in 1963 from Lois-Glen Beauty School.

Throughout her life, Judy undertook various community-driven missions, leaving a mark wherever she went. From her data entry for TPS to her compassionate role as a Clerk for the Hironimus Food Center, the Mt. Vernon Democrat, and the department of Child & Family Services in Vanderburgh County, her contributions inspired all who crossed her path.

Judy's unshakable faith was steadfastly rooted in her lifelong membership and commitment as a Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Her devotion to her faith served as a guiding light for those in her presence. Additionally, Judy was a cherished and dedicated member of the Fort Hartford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution organization, forever working to honor her heritage and uplift others.

Judy leaves behind a family that adored her beyond measure, spanning multiple generations who will forever hold her dear in their hearts. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Monty R. Daniel, her legacy lives on through their two children: daughter, Monica (Todd) Duckworth of Zionsville, Indiana and son, Michael (Rachel) Daniel of Mt. Vernon, Indiana.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, who lovingly called her 'Granny,' including: Jackson (Breanna) Daniel, Jayleigh (Connor) Flood of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Alex Duckworth of Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Duckworth of Zionsville, Indiana, Logan (Sam) Brown of Evansville, Indiana, Kinley Brown (Caleb Crowe) of Evansville, Indiana, Anistyn Daniel and Maycin Daniel of Mount Vernon, Indiana. Judy's love will forever be treasured by her great-grandchildren: Narayan Jackson and Luca, Ren & Stone Flood.

Judy, being the eldest of her four beloved sisters, leaves behind Marilyn (Wayne) Hunsaker of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Donna (Bill) Stacy of Ruskin, Florida, Deborah (Tim) Taylor of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Pamela McGuyer (Mike) Craig of Prospect, Kentucky, as well as cherished nieces and nephews whose lives she influenced with her warm & embracing love.

Judy's memory will forever remain etched in our hearts, reminding us of the incredible woman she was — a beacon of compassion, grace, and unconditional love. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all, serving as a reminder to cherish each moment and embrace the profound impact we can have on the lives of others.

As we bid farewell to our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend let us celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind and find solace in the beautiful memories that will forever live on within us. May her beautiful soul find eternal peace in the kingdom of heaven alongside our savior, Jesus Christ.
