Ralph Harvey Adams, age 83, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 while he took his last breath doing what he loved- farming.

Visitation will take place from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hicks Funeral Home.Funeral services will take place at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Coldwater Methodist Church with Pastor Richard Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Blanche, and his daughter, Susan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Coldwater Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.Ralph Harvey Adams
October 3, 1939 - June 25, 2023

Ralph Harvey Adams, age 83, of the Rock Branch community, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 while he took his last breath doing what he loved- farming.

Ralph was born in Elbert County to the late Harvey Jordan Adams and George Kate Teasley Adams. He was a faithful member of Coldwater Methodist Church, and joined the Elberton Lions Club in 1966.

Although he had been in a period of declining health, Ralph never let it slow down his love for farming and gardening. He never missed a chance to feed the cows or to plant a garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Blanche Reagin Adams; seven year old daughter, Susan Adams; and brother, Steve Adams.

He is survived by his son, Gary Adams (Michelle); his pride and joy, his two granddaughters, Cameron and Callie; his sister, Emily Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hicks Funeral Home.

The family may be contacted at the residence.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Coldwater Methodist Church with Pastor Richard Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Blanche, and his daughter, Susan.

The Elberton Lions Club will serve as honorary pallbearers.
