Helen Venable Hall, 93, of Westfield, passed away on June 29, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on November 25, 1929, in Stokes County, the daughter of the late Samuel Harvel Venable and Ida Simmons Venable.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roy Gene Hall; son, Greg Hall; her five brothers, Harry Venable, Bobby Venable, Darrell Venable, Billy Venable, and Allen Venable; and her two sisters, Betty Vaden and Thelma King.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Kay Hall Kiser and husband Ronald; grandchildren, Jason Kiser (Miranda), Jarrett Kiser (Staci); Kerry Conner (David), Ted Hall (Erica); five great-grandchildren, Lexi Martin, Kailey Trivett, Anson Kiser, Ayla Kiser, Presley Hall; and three sisters-in-law, Greta Hall, Barbara Hall, and Carolyn Venable.

A graveside service celebrating Helen's life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023, at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Westfield with Pastor Jon White officiating. Mrs. Hall will lie in state from 3:00 to 5:00 Sunday afternoon, July 2, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
