Waldine Norma (nee Foppiano) Bodrato, 95, of Northvale, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 22, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Anthony Bodrato for 66 years. Cherished mother of Briant and his wife Kathleen of Northvale. Adored grandmother of Christopher Bodrato, Ashley Bodrato Panella and her husband Michael. Grandma to her fur babies Pierce, Jax and Dutch who she loved spending her days with.
She was a secretary for the Northvale Planning Board and served as the Treasurer for many years on the Northvale Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She also served as the Treasurer and President of the Democratic Club. Waldine was a lifetime parishioner of Saint Anthony's Church. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and talk to her friends and family on the phone every day. She will be forever remembered for her historical knowledge of Northvale being a resident for 95 years, her kind heart, amazing Italian dishes and her true genuine spirit. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.
Visitation was offered on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ 07647. A funeral mass was celebrated on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10 AM in Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 199 Walnut Street, Northvale, NJ 07647. Interment followed at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY.
