CEDAR BLUFF, Va. — Alfred C. (Junior) Beavers Jr., age 52, of Cedar Bluff, Va., passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at his home.
Born October 19, 1955 in Richlands, Va., he was the son of Alfred Curtis Beavers Sr. and Vivian Lucille Williamson Beavers of Cedar Bluff, Va. He was an electrician/mechanic for Spandeck Crane Corporation. He was formerly employed with Simmons & Rand formerly S & S Corporation.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Clara Grace Beavers of Pounding Mill; one son, C.J. Beavers of Pounding Mill; three brothers, Sherman Wayne Beavers, Steven Henry Beavers and Darrell Glenn Beavers all of Cedar Bluff; special uncle like a brother, Bill Beavers; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend, Debi Riffe; and the mother of his children, Rhonda D. Beavers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va. with Brother Otis Musick officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowe/Beavers Cemetery at Ravens Nest Branch, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday (today) at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Va.
