John Austgen owned Austgen Express and Storage in Chicago Heights. They had branch offices in Wisconsin and elsewhere. He went off the road one night in Wisconsin and into a body of water. A boulder fell on top of the driver's side. It was never determined if was DUI & died of a heart attack or the boulder hitting the top of the car. The car's roof had a huge dent in it.His wife Elsie fixed the dent, and drove the car for years!He was only 48 when he was killed. Many newspapers in Illinois & Wisconsin have stories about this incident.
