Lupio departed this life on March 26,2008 at the age of 51 years. Guadalupe was self employed general contractor He was Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Juan and Cecelia Medrano paternal grandparents Theodore and Sara Herrera one son Gabriel Herrera and one brother Tony Herrera.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Guadalupe and Dubelia Herrera Sr. four daughters Patricia Gaitan,Iola Herrera,Daniella Kongstvedt and Daniella Valdez all of Lubbock two brothers Raymond Herrer and Rene Herrera both of Lubbock two sisters Sara Lozano of San Antonio and Cathy Herrera of Lubbock and seven grandchildren
