Funeral director & embalmer. A graduate of San Francisco College of Mortuary Science opened McDermott Funeral Home in Santa Barbara in 1938. Other family members worked at the firm and his wife Louise taught piano ad organ next door and was the mortuary organist. After his death Richard Crockett took over.
