Lilly Gurvise Downing, 88, of 813 Weller Ave., died Tuesday at her home. She was a native of Fountain Run. Survivors include four sons, Harry Downing of Underwood, Ind., T.J., Wayne and Billy Downing; a daughter, Mrs. Irene McClellan; a sister, Mrs. Nona Johnson; two brothers, Coy Johnson of Flippin and George Johnson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Indian Creek Baptist Chruch in Flippin, with burial In Neal Cemetery there. Visitation is at Hughes Funeral Home in Fountain Run.
