Ione M. Fritz, 79, of St. Cloud died suddenly Sunday March 23, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac after suffering a stroke at her home on Friday.
She was born June 26, 1928 in the Town of Greenbush a daughter of the late Arno & Agnes Gumtow Meyer.
On October 20, 1951 she married Norman Fritz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cascade.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Fritz of St. Cloud; her 3 children, Peggy (Steve) DeMunck of Greenbush, Mark (Mary) Fritz of St. Cloud and Roseann (David) Birr of Mayville; 6 grandchildren, Allan (Jenny) DeMunck, Raymond DeMunck, Michelle Fritz, Matthew Fritz and his special friend, Shannon, Eric (Becky) Birr and Anthony Birr; 2 great-grandchildren, Ethan & Aiden DeMunck; 4 sisters, Delores (Joe) Tracy of School Hill, Arlene Lind of Ripon, Donna Mae Cotter of Bonduel, Doris (Jerry) Reiss of Crivitz; her brother, Edward (Mary Ann) Meyer of Brandon; her sister-in-law, Betty Meyer of Sheboygan Falls; 2 brothers-in-law, Harold (Loretta) Fritz of Wautoma and Lyle (Marie) Fritz of Wild Rose and Helen Fritz of Wautoma.
