Two Rivers friends have been advised of the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Klien (sic), widow of the late Mathias Klien and an early day resident of the city. Mrs. Klien, aged 80, died at Croey on the Mosel, Germany, where she had taken up her home after the death of her husband some years ago.

Death of Mathias Klein.
Mr. Mathias Klein, after a brief but severe illness, died at his residence it (sic)
this village last Saturday morning. Deceased was an old and respected citizen of
this village, having resided here for many years; was an active member of the St.
Joseph Society, and also of the Fire Department. Mr. Klein leaves a wife and several
children, all of whom, except one, we believe, are grown up. His funeral on yesterday
was largely attended, and the societies to which he belonged were out in uniform.
Several member of the St. Joseph Society of Manitowoc were also in attendance.
