Mrs. Martha Fletcher

Mrs. Martha Fletcher, wife of J. M. Fletcher, died at Blackwell, Saturday, October 25, 1924, aged 65 years, 10 months and 11 days.

Fneral [sic] services, conducted by the Rev. A. F. Wasson, of Stillwater, were held at Lost Creek church Sunday afternoon.

Martha Creech was born December 14, 1858, at Glenwood, Io. She was married to J. M. Fletcher in 1878. Ten children were born to them, of whom two died in infancy and two others when they were grown. Immediate surviving relatives are her husband, J. M. Fletcher, five sons and one daughter, and twelve grandchildren. The sons are Ira and W. W. Fletcher, of Stillwater; John Fletcher, of Shidler; Ben Fletcher, of Ponca City, and Fred Fletcher, of Pawhuska; the daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Fulk, of Blackwell.

Mrs. Fletcher was a loving and devoted mother and a good neighbor. All who knew her, loved her.
