Jean was a 1963 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and furthered her education at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. For many years during the 1980's she was employed as a registered nurse for the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Niles. Jean especially enjoyed gardening, traveling and the many family gatherings with her children, grandchildren and extended family. She was a member of Saint Stephen Church, Niles.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William E. Adair whom she married on October 29, 1966 and he died October 14, 2017.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Adair with whom she lived, son, William (Rae) Adair of Columbia, Missouri, two grandchildren, Devin Adair, Isabella Adair, brother, Dale (Sandra) Garland of Champion, two nephews, Todd Garland and Greg Garland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Saint Stephen Church, Niles with the Rev. Richard Murphy officiating. Visitation will be at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Kerr Cemetery.
