Minnie married John Loudenbarger on October 11, 1882 in Erie, Kansas. Her husband, John was a Civil War Veteran who served in Company H, 8th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. He is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Galesburg, Kansas. The name on John's headstone is spelled 'Loudyberger.' In researching this (my) family I have seen various spellings for their last name and have found no explanation for it.
To this union three sons were born; John Andrew "Andy" born January 1884, Edmond Leroy "Roy" born December 1887 and Samuel Archie "Sam" born October 1891.
