The birth and death statistics listed above are derived from his death certificate.

On Demand Court Records indicates that Caleb K. Anderson married Sallie Westbrook on 11/24/1903 in Lincoln County, OK. Since this is more of a first-person document, I have gone with the name Caleb rather than "Calip" which is written on his death certificate. In most places he is referred to as C. K. Anderson.

On page 6 of the April 2, 1936 edition of the Black Dispatch, under the Stroud column, it says: "The First Baptist Sunday school was well attended. Service opened at eleven o'clock. Scripture lesson read by Rev. J. S. Wilson. Reverend Anderson was at his post of duty as usual Sunday. While sitting in his chair waiting for the time to preach, he died suddenly before he could be removed from the church. The Lumn undereaking [sic] company is in charge of the body."

On page 1 of the March 27, 1936, Stroud Messenger, it says: "Rev. C. K. Anderson (colored) age 75 years, died Sunday of heart failure while standing on the pulpit of the colored Church South of Stroud. He was a religious leader of the Baptist faith among the colored folks of Lincoln county, and was highly respected by his people. The fhneral [sic] was held Tuesday afternoon in his church and burial was made in the Key West cemetery."
