Jeffrey Dee Leary, born in Flint, Michigan on July 3, 1955, passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 67.

He graduated from Carmen-Ainsworth High School in 1973 and went on to work at various General Motors locations, eventually retiring from Powertrain Metal Castings in Saginaw. Jeff was a lover of the outdoors and spent much of his free time camping, fishing, and exploring nature. He was incredibly proud of his two daughters and adored his grandchildren. In 2013, Jeff met Debbie, and they found a special friendship and companionship in each other. Unfortunately, Jeff was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, but he faced it with fierce determination and eventually triumphed over it in a successful remission. He would have been 7 years cancer free this June. Jeff will always be remembered for his love of family, his passion for nature, and his unwavering strength in the face of adversity.

Jeff is survived by his daughters: Jacqulyn (Charles) Allport and Kailey Leary; grandsons: Jaycen Leary and Rowan Bolf; mother: Mary Jane Rumble; siblings: Terry (John) Lowes, Roger (Darlene) Leary, Dennis Leary, Doug (Barb) Leary, Jill (Dave) Rumble, Jerry Leary and Julie (Jim) Gerst. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and his Beamers family.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Carl Albert Leary and his stepfather: Glenn Allen Rumble.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Poseyville Cemetery in Poseyville, Indiana
