Frances Jane DeMarb, age 99, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1924, to the late Leroy and Emily (Knapp) Blasier in Milwaukee. Frances was united in marriage to Gerald Norbert DeMarb on July 22, 1939, in Sturgeon Bay. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2000.

Frances is survived by her children, Sandra Rasmussen, Gerald (Gayle) DeMarb, Jr., Jane (Ken) Akin, Jo Ann (Steve) Bosman, Karol (Robert) Kezo, and Scott (Elaine) DeMarb; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Joe. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; two daughters, Judith (Thomas) Meyers and Kim (Rob) Keller; son-in-law, Darrell Rasmussen, Sr.; grandsons, Mark Reinhard and Darrell Rasmussen, Jr.; granddaughter, April Kezo; great-granddaughter, Theresa Rasmussen; and nine siblings.

Private family services for Frances were held. Frances was laid to rest at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Sturgeon Bay beside her husband, Gerald.

Huehns Funeral Home of Sturgeon Bay and Door County Crematory, LLC, is assisting the DeMarb family.
