Ida Mae Sells departed this life on January 5, 2023 at the Gardens Nursing Facility in Sapulpa, OK at the age of 89 years.

The daughter of Albert Harvey Parks and Ruth Iva (Hazlip) Parks was born on January 17, 1933. Ida worked at the Sand Springs Cotton Mill and JC Penney's before pursuing a degree in drafting, while working at Western Heat Exchangers. In June of 1987 she began working at Ramsey Winch until her retirement in 1998 at the age of 65 years.

On January 18, 1958, Ida married Elwood Sells and they made their home in Tulsa, OK.

Ida was saved by Brother Pittman on Thursday, April 13, 1967, and was a long-standing member of The Church of God in Porter, OK. She was a talented artist and a dedicated member of Alpha Rho Tau Civic Art Club for many years. Her other hobbies included sewing, travel, and gardening.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruth Parks, her brother, John Parks, her husband, Elwood Sells, and her great-great-grandson, Tanner Dale King.
