Hospitalized, sick on November 1, 1861 at White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. POW on May 12, 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia. Confined on May 18, 1864 at Point Lookout, Maryland. Confined on August 2, 1864 at Elmira, New York. Died of smallpox as a POW.
