Ethel Allison

Services will be held Tuesday for Mrs. Ethel Allison, 75, of 510 N. 6th St., Steubenville, who died Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the East Liverpool Convalescent Center following a six - month illness. Mrs. Allison was born in East Liverpool Dec. 6, 1901, a daughter of William H. Jones and Margaret DeLong Jones. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Steubenville where she taught Sunday school. Her husband, Harry E. Allison, died Dec. 8, 1959. Survivors include a brother, William H. Jones of Braddock, Pa., four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Allison of Salem, Ore., Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Fullerton, Calif., Mrs. Edith Ferver of Cambridge and Mrs. Dorothy Tice of East Liverpool. The rites will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Home here by the Rev. Charles Brunner. Burial will be in Newport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and tonight.
