James Thomas Bland married Martha "Mattie" Manning on 6 January 1878. They were the parents of four children: daughters Birdie Alice, Mamie Lee, Jewel Pearl and son Ed. Ed was born in February 1881 and died on 27 Jul 1902 in Verbena. I do not know where Ed is buried.
