Eyvind C. Quist, 90, of Cleburne passed away Monday, March 31, 2008, in Cleburne.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Don Shipman will officiate. Interment: Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, Omaha, Neb. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
He was born Feb. 18, 1918, in Omaha, Neb., to Nels and Kathryn Morton Quist. He married Wilma Louise Meador on Sept. 16, 2000.
Mr. Quist worked in the residential heating/air conditioning business. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Cleburne.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Harriette Quist, on Dec. 30, 1998.
Survivors: His wife, Louise Quist of Cleburne; sons, Wayne Earlston and wife, Angela, of Plano, Eugene Earlston and wife, Karla, of New York and Eyvind Larry Quist and wife, Janet, of Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Brenda Grissom and husband, George, of Weatherford, Linda Wydick and husband, Kevin, of Alvarado, Katherine Bowden and husband, John, of Alvarado and Nancy Bartusek of Omaho, Neb.; brother, John Quist and wife, Marge, of Omaha, Neb.; sisters, Marie Turner of Omaha, Neb., and Joy Heath of Martin, S.D.; brother-in-law, Edward Meader and wife, Pat, of Cleburne; sister-in-law, Mary Terry and husband, Buck, of Cleburne; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
