Obituary
Jackson Bales, of Paragon, died today at the home of his son, Ed in Paragon. The deceased had been sick for some four months. He had formerly lived near Turkey Track and was a soldier in the Mexican War.
He was born in Lawrence County, this state, and was 76 years old. He died of heart and kidney trouble and will be buried Friday afternoon at Union, in Baker township.
