Peggy Ann Crum-Kilroy, 94, died peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her home in Urbandale. A private family graveside service will be held at the Atlantic Cemetery in Atlantic, Iowa.
Peggy was born March 20, 1929 in Atlantic, Iowa to William and Gertrude (Cranston) Prall. She was a graduate of Atlantic High School and moved to Des Moines in 1949. Peggy worked as a receiving clerk at Sears for 17 years and then Kohls for another 15 years. She enjoyed bowling and associations with Good Sam Camping, Iowa Star, Heart of Hawkeyes and Second Chance Sam.
Survivors include her children: Michael (Patricia) Crum of Des Moines, Mark (Kathleen) Crum of Urbandale, Thomas Crum of Urbandale; step-son: Thomas Kilroy of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren: Cathy Crum, Gina Crum. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Perry Ray Crum and George Kilroy; step-children: Michael and James Kilroy and Linda Nuzum.
