Graveside service for Charles Wayne Sims, 64, of Granbury will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 14, 2023 in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jered Sims, Casey Mathis, Brian West, Waylond Sims, Jaxen Johnson and James Solley.
Charles passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 in Granbury. He was born December 10, 1958 in Fort Worth to Wayland Carlis and Laura Mozelle (Hutson) Sims. He married Eileen Muth on October 1, 1988 in Fort Worth. Charles was an avid gardener who loved music and to ride his Harley. He loved his family dearly. Charles will be greatly missed.
Charles is survived by his wife, Eileen Sims; daughter, Rachelle Johnson and husband, Lonnie; grandchildren, Sabra Solley and husband, James, Madelyn Sims and Jaxen Johnson; sisters, Sherrie West and husband, Ray, Darlene Mathis and husband, Charlie; brother, Wendell Sims; brother in law, Doug Lain and a whole list of nephews and nieces, and other family and friends that he dearly loved.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his only son, Cody Dylan Sims and sister, Reta Lain.
