Daughter of Oliver M. Gonser and Lucille F. Ford Gonser. She attended Gage High School in Ellis County, OK, and she later worked on Ginther Ranch as a ranch hand. She was preceded in death by a brother. She was survived by two daughters, Michelle Robertson and Paula Robertson; three brothers, Ray Gonser, Harold Gonser, and George Gonser; two sisters, Bessie Brussard and Jeanie Richey; and an extended family of relatives and friends. She died at Woodward Regional Hospital. Her funeral was held April 2, 2008, with The Rev. Rodney Shields officiating.
