Ronald M. "Ron" Denton, 71, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 5:40 am, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his home, with his family at his side.
He was born on September 22, 1951, in Huntington, Indiana, to Richard M. "Dick" and Joyce M. (Hardacre) Denton.
Ron was a 1969 graduate of Huntington North High School.
He married his high school sweetheart, Debbie Stanley on October 23, 1970 in Huntington.
Ron moved his family to Wabash in 1976, and started his business, D&B Auto Sales and Service, and operated it until his retirement in 2022. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing, collecting coins, repairing watches, and collecting old cars.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Denton and his daughter, Brandy Jo Denton, both of Wabash; father, Richard M. "Dick" Denton of Huntington; sister, Cindy Foshee of Markle, Indiana; his brother, Terry (Kathy) Denton of Huntington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, brother-in-law, Billy J. Foshee, and his nephew, Nathan Denton.
Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion.
