Fredericka Ferrell Bingham, entered into her heavenly home two days after her 94th birthday on Thursday July 20, 2023 in Edgewood, KY. Born on Thursday July 18, 1929, in Mt. Zion, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harve and Lena Elizabeth Solomon Ferrell.

On October 16, 1948 in Glencoe, KY, she was joined together in holy matrimony with Donald Bingham; this was a relationship of love and devotion to each other and to the Lord that lasted 66 years; he preceded her in death on May 27, 2015. She was a 1948 graduate of Crittenden High School. Her life centered around her family, her church and serving others. At a young age she made a profession of faith at Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she devoted so much energy and commitment to the ministries of the church. For many years she served as the church treasurer, church clerk and Sunday School teacher and an active member of the WMU (Women's Missionary Union); she also served as the clerk and treasurer of the Ten Mile Baptist Association and was a member of the Gideon's Auxillary-Grant Camp. Having the gift of "good cooking" and hospitality, over the years, she and her late husband would frequently entertain and feed their Pastor in their home, particularly after Sunday worship. When time from her busy schedule allowed, one would find her crocheting; farming was also something she enjoyed, alongside her husband.

She leaves to carry on her legacy, one son: Harold Ray Bingham of Warsaw; two daughters: Garlene Bingham Glacken-Haley of Dry Ridge and Gracella (Gerald) Morris of Cullowhee, NC. She was lovingly referred to as "Grandma" by her eight grandchildren: Grace (Brady) Powell, Will Morris, Brandl Skirvin, Stephanie (Mark) McCord, Seth (Adriana) Skirvin, Sarah Bingham, Chris (Barb) Glacken, Cara (Brad) Martin, along with 17 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Craig Glacken; two son-n-laws: Freddy Glacken, Amos Haley; a daughter-n-law: Debby Bingham and all five of her siblings: Gwyendolyn Louise Farney Strunk, William Keith "Bob" Ferrell, Carl Ferrell, Kenneth Ferrell and Leroy Ferrell.

Visitation will be Monday July 24, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday July 25th at 11:00 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church; visitation will resume at 10:00 and go until the time of the service with Rev. Gerald Morris and Rev. John Sheaffer officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Don, in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
