"Injuries Fatal for Resident of Exeter
DELANO, Aug. 17. - Injuries received when he was struck by an automobile while walking along a McFarland street proved fatal late Friday for A[lbert] S[wain] Balaam, aged Exeter resident. He died at the Emergency hospital here, where he was taken following the accident, which occurred last Sunday.
Mrs. Balaam and their children were at the hospital when death came. The body is at the Curtis Beall mortuary pending completion of funeral arrangements." END
