Deserted 1 November 1864. Captured 19 August 1864 at Cowan, Tennessee and then sent to Nashville, Tennessee and then to Louisville, Kentucky. Discharged at Camp Chase, Ohio 1 September 1864 and transferred to Rock Island, Illinois, 24 January 1864. Presumed to have signed the oath while in prison.
