Steve "Judo" Crescenze Jr., 90, of Massillon, passed away at his home on December 27, 2020 with his beloved wife by his side. He was born on December 29, 1929 in Massillon to the late Steve and Mary (Porrini) Crescenze, Sr.

Steve was preceded in death by his brothers Edward and Raymond Crescenze, sister Angeline Zimbello and a newborn son.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Steve was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he also volunteered as a cook for 40 years for church events and was the boys' basketball coach for 10 years.
He worked for MCA Signs for 38 years before retiring.

In his spare time, Steve enjoyed golfing, fishing, wine making, Cleveland Sports and loved to dance the Jitter Bug with his wife, to his favorite song, 'Alley Cat'. Steve was a Massillon Tiger Ticket holder for 60 years, loved to travel and went to Florida in the winter for 24 years.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Stella (Fabianich), of almost 70 years, who was a wonderful caregiver for him; his daughter Paula (Nick) Confalone and son Steve (Kim) Crescenze; grandchildren Lauren (Mike) Confalone, Natalie (Cole) Luffy and Sam (Irene) Crescenze; great-grandchildren Leona, Cecelia and Noah Luffy and Roman Judo Crescenze; and siblings Carolyn Mesaros and Richard Crescenze.

Due to COVID-19, a private burial will be held and a memorial mass will be planned at a later date.
