ALFRED G. HATCH

Alfred G. Hatch of Northeast Portland died Friday in a Portland-area hospital. He was 80.
Mr. Hatch was born in Detroit and had been a resident of Portland since 1831. He was a certified public accountant.

He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a City Club of Portland. He also was a member of the national and state societies of Certified Public Accountants, the American Accounting Association and the Accounting Research Association.
Survivors include his wife, Flora M. Hatch; a son, Thomas C. Hatch of Portland; two daughters Janet K. May of Beaverton and Nancy L. Wolford of Los Gatos Califor; a brother Melville H. Hatch of Bainbridge Island Washington; and four grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Westminster Presbyterian Church Northeast 17th Avenue and Schuylar Street Cremation will follow.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the church or a favorite charity.
