Joan Elizabeth Welch (90) of Ames, passed away on July 21, 2023, at Bethany Life in Story City, Iowa. A public visitation will be held at Grandon Funeral & Cremation Care (414 Lincoln Way, Ames Iowa, 50010) on Saturday, July 29th 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a short celebration of life service to follow. A private family interment will be held at Ames Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ames Animal Shelter in Joan's name.
