AUBURN-Nancy A. (Birkbeck) Brodeur, 44, of Auburn, died Tuesday, April 1st in St. Vincent Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Paul G. Brodeur; three sons, Nicholas P., Daniel J. and Christopher K. Brodeur; her mother Alice G. (Vail) Birkbeck of Worcester; three brothers, Robert M. and his wife, Marybeth Birkbeck of Spencer, Jonathan L. and his wife, Pamela A. Birkbeck of Worcester and her twin brother Michael V. Birkbeck of Worcester; her very special friends, Laura, Beth, Joanne and Gina; many nephews and nieces; and her mother and father-in-law Lucy M. (Tambolleo) and David F. Brodeur of Worcester.
She was born in Framingham; her father was the late Donald E. Birkbeck. Mrs. Brodeur was a member of St. Josephs Parish, and a dedicated volunteer with the Auburn Public Schools. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend and delighted in following her children's involvement with sports and music; and as an avid Red Sox fan. Her family wishes to extend their special thanks to the staff of 35 North at St. Vincent Hospital.
The funeral was held Friday, April 4th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial was be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours were private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Brodeur Children's Educational Fund, c/o the Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, 400 Southbridge Street, Auburn, MA 01501.
