John (Jack) E. Baker, Jr. of Kirkland, WA passed away on April 27, 2016 following a battle with cancer. Jack was born May 21, 1940 In Seattle to Jack and Lucille Baker. He graduated from Ballard High School in 1958. After serving four years in the United States Coast Guard he worked for Vitamilk Dairy and Phelps Tire Co. Jack was Past Worthy President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2681. He enjoyed golfing, dancing, camping and "shooting the breeze" with his many friends and family. He is survived by his wife Donna, sons, John, James and Brett Baker (Alicia), daughters Vicki Coffaro and Cassandra Davis, stepson Steve Davis (Rhonda) and stepdaughter Sue Skene. He leaves behind six grandchildren. He also leaves his great grandson and namesake Jack Pelland. He is survived by his sisters Barbara Johannessen (Gudde) and Cheryl Gunder (Michael) and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 14th at 2:00 PM at the Kirkland Eagles Club, 248 Central Way, Kirkland WA. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House in Seattle.
