My Great Grandfather's obituary
Last rites for James E. Dowd were conducted by Rev. George White at the Wakeman funeral home Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock. There was a large attendance of friends of the deceased and the floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.
The Pall bearers were Clint Parvin, W. D. Griffin, Ralph Kellar, David Armstrong, Leslie Armstrong, and Norman Reasoner.
Interment was at the Forgartyville Cemetery.
