George Perrin Adair, Jr., 92, died July 21, 2023 at his home.

George was born in San Antonio, TX.

He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and attended both the University of Maryland and Abilene Christian University. George's professional career was spent in the IT and Accounting departments of DuPont. In retirement, he worked for Continental Warranty into his 80's.

George was an active member of Cedars Church of Christ (now Greenbank Church of Christ) for 65 years. He was a member of the American Legion and volunteered with the Westside Neighborhood Coalition. He enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, gardening, history, and spending time with his family and friends.

George is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janice H. Adair; his daughters, Kathleen Adair Acuff and Kelly Adair-Naseery (Kais); 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3:00 on Sunday, July 30th at Greenbank Church of Christ (511 Greenbank Road, Wilmington, DE 19808). Friends may call beginning at 1:30.

Interment at the Delaware Veterans' Memorial Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Accent Hospice or the Westside Neighborhood Coalition.
