Thomas Alexander
Thomas J. Alexander, of Norristown, died on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007. He was 86 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edith May (nee Pyman) and Thomas Alexander.
Mr. Alexander was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, and was a civil engineer for the City of Philadelphia. He loved fishing, hunting and coin collecting. Mr. Alexander, a U.S. Army Veteran, was a member of the VFW and an elder and choir member at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, both located in Palm Coast, Fla.
He was the beloved husband of the late Helen, and father of Lynne Alexander and David Alexander (Nancy Anne). He was the dear grandfather of Colleen, Nora and Erin; and brother of Midge Cunningham and the late Robert Alexander.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave., where friends will be received from 6:30 p.m.
