He was born in Apalit, Pampanga, Philippines, to Severino Ablaza and Miguela Manlapaz. They are six in the family 3 sisters 2 brothers and he is the youngest. All of them passed away. He graduated High School at Apalit Pampanga and later went to FEATI University in Manila to study Electrical Engineering. He didn't finish his degree, he was a graduating student but he chose to elope with my mom after she finished her degree in Education and get married in his hometown.
He is married to deceased Carmelita Ablaza and blessed with 6 children. He is survived by his 5 children son Cesar JR., daughter Charo and Husband Mike Horhota, daughter Lynne and Husband Douglas Conklin, daughter Sylvia (deceased) and husband Vern Norviel, daughter Theresa and husband Gil Balasan and son Ray Ablaza. He also left behind 4 grandchildren Michael Truong, Brian Ablaza wife Emily Ablaza, Patrick Balasan and Erica Balasan
Cesar Worked in the Philippines as an Accountable Officer in Camp Aguinaldo and retired before he migrated to the United States. In the US he stayed in California for 7 years and 24 years here in Kennewick Wa. He last worked at Albertson's, by Edison St. in Kennewick, his dedication, friendly demeanor, and hardworking traits earned him the awards for employee of the month. From this job he finally retired again. He became an active member for Couples of Christ
He loved fishing with friends at the Columbia River. He loved playing billiards and table tennis, he was so good on it and always a winner. Cesar was best known for his quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and generous spirit.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, WA. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (Big Church) 520 S. Garfield, Kennewick, WA followed by Graveside services at Riverview Heights Cemetery, Kennewick, WA.
