Fred was a motorcycle enthusiast. He owned and operated Rip's Performance Center; building, repairing, and racing motorcycles. He built multiple Championship Racing Bikes. Fred was also an avid metal and woodworker. He enjoyed keeping up with the Orioles, Ravens, Wizards and Lakers (but mainly Lebron James). A natural athlete of his own, Fred excelled at baseball, bowling, darts, horseshoes, swimming and more. Fred was also known for many years of coaching softball both at Havre de Grace Little League as well as the High School.
