Ab Jerry Dear, Sr. 73, of EEufaula, passed away Saturday March 29, 2008, at his home. Ab was born on May 16, 1934, in Wilburton Oklahoma, The son of Willian Bruce and Nancy Dear. He graduated from Wilburton High School. Ab enlisted in the United States Army. He married Bobbie Dawn Stubbfiled in Hot Clovis, New Mexice. She preceded him in death on April 28, 1994. Ab worked as a truck driver.
Surviors include: his sons, Ab Jerry Dear, Jr. of Castle Rock, Colorado and Jason Dear of Paris Arknasas, his sister Phylis Bogard of McAlester, Oklahoma, and his brothers, Bruce Jerrel Dear of Wilburton and John Dear of Missouri. His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held 5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Kelly Memorial Chapel. Burial was held 10:00 a.m., Friday April 4, 2008, at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home.
