William H. Braun, age 88, of Columbus, Ohio, died December 25, 2020 at the Forum at Knightsbridge following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. William was born on June 16, 1932 in Sidney, Ohio.
William is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Dorothy Braun, and his sister Betty Potts. William served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1951-1954. He graduated from The Ohio State University and retired from Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio after 35 years of service. William was a longtime parishioner at St. Brendan Catholic Church. He enjoyed singing in the choir and had a passion for playing tennis. William will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
