Quinnie Sue Hunter

Quinnie Sue Hunter died at the age of 100 years old on March 25, 2008. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on February 29, 1908 and lived in Giddings until she moved to the Park Manor Nursing Home in Missouri City, Texas where she died.
Her parents were Milton Baird and Mary (Lay) Baird. She married Lynn R. "Jimmy" Hunter on October 31, 1925. She was a member of the Giddings Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson.
She is survived by two sons, James Hunter and Jack Hunter; three grandchildren, Jill Baur, David Hunter, Jana Morey; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey Hunter, Madison Acome, Forrest Acome, Sarah Catherine hunter, Christian Hunter, James David Hunter, Adam Hunter and Hayley Morey.
Services were held at Giddings Church of Christ on Saturday March 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Ricky Spacek and Pastor Roy Hardesty presided. Burial was in Giddings Memorial Park.
