Sarah ""Renee" Gallagher, 65, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. She was born January 15, 1958, in Terre Haute to Louis and Sara Gallagher. Sarah was a happy, loving person. She loved the Lord. Earlier in her life, she was a member of the Maplewood Christian Church and taught Sunday school. She participated in Special Olympics and collected for Jerry's Kids. She was gifted with numbers, always remembering everyone's birthdays, addresses, and anniversaries. Sarah had a great sense of humor and lovingly gave all of her siblings nicknames, that they still use to this day. She was an excellent caregiver and cared for her parents in their later years. She will be sadly missed by her beloved family.

Sarah is survived by her siblings, Larry and Janie Gallagher of Bloomington; Gina and Ron Haynes of Terre Haute; Brenda and Kirk Thorlton of Auburn, Kentucky; Craig Gallagher of Utica, Kentucky; Mitzi Day of Monticelli, Kentucky; Kelly Gallagher of Terre Haute; and Bridget and Greg Clements of Riley, Indiana, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Gallagher.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Steve Blaydes officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in remembrance of Sarah to the American Cancer Society.
