James "Jim" Allen Seidl, 74, of Holts Summit, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Sunterra Springs, Dardeene Prarie, Missouri. He was born December 10, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri; a son of the late William Seidl and Agnes Schweisz. Jim attended Rosary High School in Spanish Lake, MO. After high school Jim was drafted into the United States Marine Corp. He served in the Vietnam war as anti- tank infantry. He also had a passion for photography and worked for LifeTouch, running his own Region for many years. He later worked for Capital Regional Medical Center as an Operating Room Supply Clerk until his retirement. Jim had a love for cars and fulfilled his lifelong dream of buying himself a C4 Corvette. He enjoyed photography so much that he and his daughter would engage in photo competitions. Jim did not know a stranger and enjoyed spending time with Marines. He loved being part of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2693. Most of all Jim loved his family and enjoyed his time spent with them. He is survived by his children, Jon (Natasha) Seidl of St. Louis, Missouri and Becky Seidl of Boston, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Russell Bealer, Kaylei Rotella-Seidl and Sam Rotella-Seidl; brother's, Rick (Nancy) Seidl, Tom (Stacey) Seidl, Larry (Lee) Seidl and Chris (Sandy) Seidl as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Madonna Holt. Friends will be received on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church of Holts Summit, Missouri. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Church with Pastor Jamie Falter officiating. Interment with full Military Honors will be at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri.
