Mr. Baker died Tuesday mornig in a Mabank nursing home after a long illness. He was born at Clarksville and lived at Baxter most of his life. He moved to Seagoville about 10 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Baker of Seagoville; three sons, Charlie Baker and Billy Wayne Baker of Athens, and Gerald Baker of Seagoville; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Whiteley of Seagoville and Miss Linda Livingston Baker of Mabank; one brother, Douglas Baker of Cooper; one sister Mrs. Claude Richardson of Athens and nine grandchildren.
