Patricia was the daughter of Roland J. Dillon (1916-1961) & Florence E. Nightingale (1916-1985). She was the eldest sister of Pamela L. Dillon (Davis)(1949-2002) and the mother of John H. (1956-1956), Debbie L., David M.(1959-2010), Kimberley A., Kenny W. (1963-2010), & Roland J. (1969 - )
She was born in the Nightingale home located at 5518 Jackson St. in Omaha, Nebraska on May 27, 1937. By approx. 1940, she had moved briefly to San Jose, California with her parents and then to San Francisco, Ca. By approx. 1952, she, her sister Pamela, and her parents had re-located to 5630 E.16th St. in Oakland, Ca. where she attended Havens Court Elementary School and then Fremont High School, where she graduated in 1955.

While still a senior in high school, she and Leland Fuchs (1934-1996) were married. By 1959-1960, the couple had separated and in late 1960, she met Kenneth Boulware (1939-2000), whom she later married in 1962.

Patricia and Kenneth resided in Hayward, Ca. for approx. 30+ years. Kenneth was employed at Gillig Corporation and Patricia had been employed as a receptionist at Friden/ Neopost, also in Hayward, prior to the on-set of her own illness.

Kenneth Boulware passed away at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward on Valentines Day, February 14, 2000 at the age of 60 years . Patricia would follow him six years later, on June 8th. 2006, at her home in Dublin, Ca, at 69 years of age.

ONE SHORT STORY: My mother told me a story of how she met my father. It was at a Country & Western night spot called "The 1902 Club", (it's address on Broadway in Oakland, Ca). Apparently, she, a girl friend of hers, & two guys in the military, were all sitting at a table talking, when up walked my father. He looked down at my mom and ignoring everyone else at the table, and just asked her to dance. Now, the two military guys looked at each other and then glared up at my dad, who stood standing there in his Coast Guard uniform, gazing down at my mother. The one guy, also in The Coast Guard and holding a higher rank, says to my father, "Don't you think that you should have asked me first ?", where upon my father says to him, "Why ?? I don't want to dance with you ! " Then all hell broke loose.

Final: On October 19, 2011, the date chosen because it was my father's birthday, I had both of my parent's remains or urns interred at The San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. The Honor Guard, the cemetery staff, & the 30 minute service that the cemetery provided was fabulous. I couldn't have asked for any better treatment for my parents, my family, or myself. Excellent !
