My grandmother's cousin Ruthie was the daughter of James Basil Simmons and Minnie COUSDER Marsson-Simmons. She was the granddaughter of Jefferson Simmons, Sr. and Elizabeth KINDER Simmons.
Ruthie died of colitis and glandular TB at age two years, five months, and eight days.
Her father preceded in death by only two months. He, also, had died from TB.
Her survivors included her mother and a very large extended family. Among them were her aunts, uncles, and many, many cousins.
Little Ruthie was very much loved and greatly missed by all.
